India's unions warn of poor working conditions amid industrial accidents

Every year in India, industrial accidents kill thousands of people and leave thousands of others disabled for life. According to the government, at least 6,500 workers died on the job between 2017 and 2021. But labour activists say the figure could be higher. The victims of workplace accidents are often poor workers in factories or
