MANILA (Reuters) — A Philippine court on Friday acquitted used senator Leila De Lima, one of many fiercest critics of ex-President Rodrigo Duterte, of a criminal price stemming from allegations that as a cupboard minister she received money from drug sellers.
De Lima, 63, has been in detention for the past six years and despite her acquittal, isn’t any longer going to directly be launched attributable to 1 more case pending in court.
